On Saturday 31st March there was an 1 kyu grading at Kodokan in Watford. There were 25 applicants with 21 passing. Anatoli Alalins, Ilja Ivanov, Doug Punch and Hanri Le Roux were all awarded their 1 kyu. It was a good introduction to the grading process and everyone enjoyed it.
